Gaetan Lefèvre has had an extensive career in risk management and insurance. Gaetan is currently serving as the President of the Belgian Risk Management Association (BELRIM) since June 2020. Prior to this, they were a Board Member and Treasurer at Ferma since June 2017.

From 2007 to present, Gaetan Lefèvre worked at CMI as the Head of Professional Ethics, Risk, and Insurance Management. Additionally, they were an External Collaborator at the University of Liège from October 2015 to September 2020.

Gaetan Lefèvre's work experience also includes being the Vice President of BELRIM from July 2017 to June 2020, and previously served as the President of BELRIM from December 2010 to June 2017.

Before their roles at BELRIM, Gaetan Lefèvre was the Risk & Insurance Manager at Interbrew Belgium from January 1999 to August 2007.

Between 1980 and 1985, Gaetan Lefèvre attended the University of Liège, earning a Master of Engineering degree in Civil Mining. In 1985-1986, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Université catholique de Louvain. In 1991-1992, they studied at UCL Mons and obtained a Master's degree in Risk and Insurance Management. Additionally, they hold a certification in European FERMA RIMAP risk management from Ferma, although the specific dates of completion are unavailable.
