Guillaume Simonis

Guillaume Simonis is an experienced Bid and Project Manager at John Cockerill since January 2020, with a background in mechanical engineering and project coordination. Prior to this role, Guillaume was self-employed, focusing on self-development and travel in over ten countries in South East Asia and Oceania, enhancing multi-cultural empathy and awareness of climate challenges. Between August 2015 and January 2019, Guillaume worked as a Design & Commissioning Engineer at Safran Aero Boosters, managing mechanical calculations for high-value components and overseeing multi-disciplinary teams across Europe and Russia. Guillaume's earlier experiences include a master's thesis at Siemens on airfoil geometry and an internship involving finite element analysis of gas turbine stress surveys. Educational qualifications include master's degrees in Financial Risk Management and Management from HEC Liège, as well as engineering degrees in Turbomachinery Aeromechanics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
