Simon Elcock

Simon Elcock has extensive experience in the engineering sector, particularly within gas compression and product testing. Since joining John Crane in May 2008, Simon has held multiple director-level positions, including Director Innovation for Gas Compression and Director Engineering for Turbo, Filtration & Couplings, as well as Gas Seals. Responsibilities have included managing reliability engineering departments and overseeing aftermarket technical inquiries. Prior to John Crane, Simon served as a Propulsion Specialist at SERCO Defence and Aerospace, where the focus was on the development of a gas turbine engine for military applications. Simon's engineering career began in the RAF, where roles included Propulsion/Airframe engineer from 2001 to 2007.
