Chris Johnson

Manager, Chief Engineer

Chris Johnson is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in various industries. Currently serving as Manager and Chief Engineer at John Deere since January 2006, Chris oversees Operator Station Design and Development and Engineering Management for Experimental Operations and Structural Analysis. Previously, Chris held multiple progressive engineering and program management roles at Ford Motor Company from July 1990 to January 2006, including Chief Engineer and Department Manager in Germany. Prior military experience includes service in the U.S. Army, with leadership roles within the 101st Airborne Division, complemented by a stint as a process engineer at Mobil Oil. Chris holds a BS in Engineering and Management from the United States Military Academy at West Point and has further education from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
