Justin Chen

Justin Chen is a Senior Data Scientist at John Deere, specializing in product recommendations and lead generation since May 2021. Chen has developed a data product that integrates machine learning outputs with customer analytics for actionable sales leads and established GitHub version control along with CI/CD practices. Previous roles include participation in the Analytics Development Program, where Chen enhanced code coverage through a unit and integration testing framework, and a Data Science Internship, during which a CatBoost model was created to improve warranty claim processing efficiency. In addition to professional experience, Chen serves as an Instructional Associate and previously held the role of Graduate Teaching Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, assisting over 1000 students in data analytics. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Analytics from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Sociology from the University of Michigan.
