Marcela Allemand

Marcela Allemand, MJ- LEL, MBA, PHR, SHRM- CP, currently serves as the Manager of Employee Relations and Human Resources at John Deere since December 2022. Previously, Marcela held the role of Director of Human Resources at Gulf Island Fabrication, Inc. from April 2020 to December 2022, where guidance was provided to HR professionals across manufacturing and professional sectors in Louisiana and Texas. Marcela has also directed HR functions at NVI, LLC, supporting 475 employees across multiple business units, and at Candies Shipbuilders LLC, where strategic HR management was implemented. Earlier experience includes establishing a judiciary interpreting company at Professional Interpreting and Translation Services LLC and providing HR leadership at Performance Energy Services, LLC. Educational qualifications include a Master of Jurisprudence in Labor and Employment Law from Tulane University Law School, a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Nicholls State University, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
