Marty Bauer

Marty Bauer is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in architecture and information security. Currently serving as Principal Architect in Information Security at John Deere Financial since June 2017, Marty provides security-focused strategic architectural and governance support while facilitating a cloud-first strategy in AWS. Marty also operates as the owner and pilot of Bigneck Aerial, specializing in quadrotor aerial photography and videography. Previous roles include Cloud Architect at Ascent Solutions, LLC, and architect positions at Athene USA, Pomeroy, Sauer-Danfoss, and Nationwide Insurance, with a strong focus on infrastructure design, cloud migrations, and technical leadership. Marty holds a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Iowa State University.
