Mercy Abel

Mercy Abel has a diverse range of work experience. Mercy started their career as a Gymnastics Coach at East Dunbartonshire Leisure and Culture Trust in 2017, where they worked until 2021. In 2019, they joined The Oasis Church as a Media & Creative Lead and remained in that role until 2022. From 2020 to 2022, they worked at The Unmistakables as an Inclusion Consultant, Associate, and Insights Intern. During this time, they also participated in the Creative Mentor Network's Prime Video Bright Sparks Mentorship Programme. In 2020, Mercy had various roles including being a Community Member at Home From College and participating in the 2009 Club Mentorship Programme. Mercy also had a short internship at Bright Network. In 2021, they joined audacity of we as a Podcast Creator, Host, and Producer. Mercy then worked at Ok Mentor as a Senior Committee Member, Mentee, and Senior Strategy Manager. Currently, they are working at John Doe as a Communities Manager and Cultural Insights & Content Lead (Elsewhere) starting in 2022. Additionally, Mercy participated in One Month Mentors Programme at The Elephant Room in 2022.

Mercy Abel attended Lenzie Academy from 2010 to 2016. Mercy then pursued a Bachelor's degree in International Business with Marketing at Strathclyde Business School from 2016 to 2020. In 2019, they also attended Lund University School of Economics and Management for a brief period, earning another Bachelor's degree in International Business. Mercy has obtained additional certifications such as Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google, Internship Experience UK Certificate of Completion - Business, Operations and Marketing from Bright Network, and Hubspot Inbound Marketing Certified from HubSpot.
