Robert van Leer

Robert van Leer currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Artistic Planning at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, a position held since July 2015. Prior to this role, Robert held leadership positions as Managing Director at Wonderbird and Nederlands Dans Theater. Additionally, Robert was the Head of Music and Arts Projects at Barbican Centre from February 1996 to July 2011. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts from Carnegie Mellon University, with further education from Columbia University, Harvard Business School, Texas McCombs School of Business, and the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
