Timothy O’Leary

Timothy O'Leary is the current General Director of the Washington National Opera at John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Prior to this, they were the Associate Vice President of Strategy & Business Development at R Street Institute from February 2018 to September 2021. Before that, they were a Museum Educator at the National Gallery of Art from May 2014 to February 2018.

Before their museum educator days, Timothy was an Associate Instructor at Indiana University from August 2012 to December 2013. During that time, they also held the title of IPED Project Manager at Everything Channel from January 2009 to December 2011. Timothy juggled their Director of Global Business Development title at Yankee Group from January 2011 to December 2011 with their Director of Product Management, Client Experience title at Yankee Group Research, Inc. from January 2007 to December 2009.

Eduventures was Timothy's last stop before their current position when they worked as a Director, Consulting from January 2003 to December 2007. Before that, they were an Adjunct Faculty at Herron School of Art & Design, Indiana University from January 2014 to May 2014 and Consultant at McKenna Group from January 2000 to December 2002.

Timothy O'Leary has a Master of Arts in Art Timothy'story from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania. Timothy also attended The Winsor School.
