Paul Roberts MCIHT, ACMI has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. Paul started their career as an Operations Manager at Cambridgeshire Construction in 1989 and then moved on to work as a Contracts Manager at Ringway from 1995 to 2002.
From 2002 to 2012, Paul worked as a Contracts Manager at Lafarge, where they successfully delivered highways term maintenance contracts within Hertfordshire. Paul managed various projects, including target cost schemes, walk & build works, and countywide traffic signal upgrade programs.
In 2012, Paul joined BAMnuttall as a Sub Agent/Section Engineer, where they worked on closing out sections 1-4 of the Luton-Dunstable guided busway project. Their responsibilities included programming, resourcing, CDM and safety issues, and material procurement.
From 2013 to 2014, Paul worked as an Engineer at Ringwayjacobs, where they assessed road condition reports, reviewed sites, and proposed treatment methods to ensure efficient budget management.
Since 2014, Paul has been working at John Henry Group as a Contracts Manager/Head of Highways. In this role, they have been delivering a varied assortment of schemes to a variety of clients, with a budget of approximately £15m. Their responsibilities include identifying scheme requirements, liaising with key stakeholders, planning and programming works, managing traffic management, and resolving claims.
Throughout their career, Paul has demonstrated strong project management skills, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on ensuring high-quality deliverables within schedule and budget constraints.
Paul Roberts MCIHT, ACMI began their education at Impington Village College from 1968 to 1974. During this period, they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. In 1974, they enrolled at CCAT, Cambridge, where they completed their studies in Civil Engineering and obtained an HNC degree in 1978.
