Colin Craney

Colin Craney is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as General Manager of Design and Engineering Management at John Holland since August 2022. Prior to this role, Colin was the Engineering Director at CPB Contractors, leading the $3.5 billion Rail Network Alliance from May 2016 to August 2022. Colin's earlier tenure at GHD included positions such as Design Director, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing the Level Crossing Removal Project and managing a large portfolio of projects as Senior Project Manager. Additional roles included Senior Design Manager for immigration infrastructure projects and Project Engineer for residential subdivisions. Colin began his career at WHITE YOUNG GREEN LIMITED as a Civil Engineer and previously gained experience at GHD in the Urban Development team. Colin holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Business Administration, both from RMIT University.
