Andrew Truman

Project Leader at John Innes Centre

Andrew Truman started their work experience in 2008 as a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge. Andrew worked on a BBSRC-funded grant, focusing on the assembly of chimeric glycosyltransferases for directing biosynthesis of natural products. Andrew then became a Research Fellow at the same institution in 2009, where they conducted independent research on engineering glycosylation pathways, studying glycopeptide genetics, and elucidating the biosynthesis of ribosomal peptides. In this role, they also supervised project students. In 2013, Andrew joined the John Innes Centre as a Project Leader, but no specific details about this role were provided.

Andrew Truman completed their MSci degree in Chemistry at Imperial College London from 2000 to 2004. Andrew then pursued further education and obtained a PhD in Chemical Biology from the University of Cambridge from 2004 to 2008.
