Dileep Mudadeniya has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles in the tourism and hospitality industry. Dileep began their career in 2010 as the Head of Quality Standards, Licensing, Investment Legal, and Special Projects at the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority. In 2012, they founded the Center for Research and Sustainable Studies in Tourism. From 2012 to 2020, they held various positions at Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, including Vice President of Brand Marketing and CEO of Cinnamon Life Mall. In 2017, they became a member of the National Task Force in Tourism at the Prime Minister's Office. In 2020, they became the Head of Corporate Affairs at John Keells Holdings PLC and later took on the role of Senior VP of Global Alliances and Partnerships. Throughout their career, Dileep has demonstrated expertise in marketing, corporate affairs, and sustainable tourism.
Dileep Mudadeniya holds a B.A in Law and Marketing and is also a qualified attorney (Att-at-law). In addition, they have obtained a degree in Chartered Marketing (FCIM) and an MBA. Their education was completed at Royal College.
