Kirsten Whiting

Kirsten Whiting, MHA, RHIA has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Hairstylist at Cutting Loose Salon until 2009 when they joined JCPenney Salon as a Senior Master Hairstylist. In 2016, Kirsten served as a Summer Intern at Manatee County Rural Health Services, Inc., followed by a role as a Database Manager at Smoothie Time LLC., where they analyzed, designed, implemented, and managed the company's database system. In 2017, they worked as a Substitute Teacher at Leon County Schools before joining John Knox Village of Florida, Inc. as a Risk Manager. In their current position at the same company since 2022, they serve as the Director of Risk Management, where they establish policies and procedures to identify and address risks and recommends and implements risk management solutions. Kirsten's experience showcases their skills in risk management, database management, teaching, and hairstyling.

Kirsten Whiting obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Health Informatics and Information Management from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in the years 2013 to 2016. Kirsten later pursued a Master of Health Administration degree at LSU Shreveport from 2021 to 2022. Kirsten also holds various certifications, including RHIA from AHIMA and hazardous materials awareness and hazardous materials: PPE from The Pro Board.
