RJ Guess

RJ Guess is currently the CEO at John Muir Charter Schools. RJ has been with the company in various capacities since 1998. RJ started as an instructional assistant and then became a teacher and lead teacher overseeing all instruction for up to 70 students at a time in two locations. In 2003, they were promoted to deputy director and given oversight of all academic and vocation programs for John Muir Charter Schools. RJ has also assisted the executive director in all school budget, personnel, public policy and legislative duties at the state and federal level.

RJ Guess has a professional clear teaching credential in social sciences from Humboldt State University, a clear/tier II administrative services credential in education from Loyola Marymount University, and a bachelor's degree in political science and government from Humboldt State University.
