Sharon Jenkins

Sharon Jenkins is a seasoned business leader with over 15 years of experience in healthcare services, currently serving as the Director of Government Affairs and External Relations at John Muir Health since January 2007. In this role, Sharon focuses on designing, implementing, and measuring workforce health improvement programs utilizing high-quality healthcare resources for both public and private employers. Previously, Sharon held the position of Manager, Corporate Health, responsible for managing operational budgets and establishing new client relationships. Prior experience includes serving as Coordinator of Corporate Wellness at the Health & Fitness Institute within the John Muir/Mt. Diablo Health System from September 1992 to December 2006. Education credentials include a Master of Public Administration in Public Administration/Healthcare Administration from California State University - East Bay and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education from California State University, Long Beach.
