Amanda Waddell

Head Of Faculty The Arts at John Paul College

Amanda Waddell has a diverse work experience in education. Amanda began their career as a Dance and Drama teacher at Holland Park School in 2007, followed by a brief tenure at Heathfield School for Girls. In 2000, they joined Marsden State High School as a Dance and Drama teacher until 2008. Amanda then moved to Canterbury College Queensland Australia, where they worked as a Curriculum Coordinator from 2009 to 2014. In 2014, they joined John Paul College as a Curriculum Assistant for the Arts and later became the Head of Faculty The Arts in January 2020.

Amanda Waddell completed their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with a focus on Drama and Dance Teacher Education at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 1996 to 1999. During the same period, they also earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a specialization in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts, General from the same institution.
