Ms. Sonia Cahill was appointed as a Non-Executive Director in 2021 and is a member of the Governance committee.
A communications professional with more than 20 years of experience in public affairs and reputation management, Sonia currently manages communications and engagement for the Energy and Water Ombudsman Queensland. She is a director of the MacDiarmid Arts Trust, a charity she established with close family members to preserve the legacy of an expatriate New Zealand artist, and a former director of the Queensland chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators.
Sonia is passionate about authentic stakeholder engagement, effective communication, reconciliation, diversity and inclusion, and mental health.
