James Dempsey

James Dempsey is a Senior Engineer at John Paul Construction since January 2015, where experience includes the refurbishment of existing dwellings on Kildare Street and the design and build of a new 234-bed hotel on Dean Street. Prior to this role, experience as a Site Engineer included work on the demolition and refurbishment of the old Bank of Ireland buildings in Dublin and the construction of the £50 million Newlands Cross Flyover at BAM Contractors. James began a career as a Graduate Engineer with SISK Group, contributing to the new brewery project for Diageo in Dublin. James holds a BSc in Construction Management and Engineering from the University of Limerick, earned from 2007 to 2011, and completed secondary education at St. Brendans Community School in Birr, Co. Offaly, from 2001 to 2007.
