Richard Butler

Richard Butler has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Richard has most recently served as the Head of Occupational Health and Wellbeing at John Sisk & Son Ltd, where they led the design and implementation of a new occupational health and wellbeing function across multiple regions. Prior to this, Richard worked at Bord Gáis Energy as an Occ Health / Wellbeing Specialist, overseeing the company's health and wellbeing program with a particular focus on mental health. Richard has also worked as a Health and Safety Officer at Rehab Group, an HR Officer at Deloitte, an English Teacher in Daegu, South Korea, and an HR Assistant at UPS Ireland Ltd. Richard holds a Chartered Membership with IOSH and has qualifications in nutrition and health coaching from the Irish Institute of Nutrition and Health.

Richard Butler obtained a BBS degree in Business Studies with a specialization in HR from Dublin City University in the years 1996 to 2000. Richard then pursued a postgraduate diploma in Health and Safety at Work, specializing in Occupational Health and Safety from 2007 to 2009, also at Dublin City University. In 2016 to 2017, they obtained ITEC and BTEC certification in Nutrition and Health Coaching from the Irish Institute of Nutrition and Health. Finally, from 2019 to 2021, Richard completed an MSc in Occupational Health from University College Cork.
