Naima Cozier

Naima Morales Cozier has dedicated her professional career to minimizing health inequity via capacity development, training, program evaluation, and qualitative research. Her 18 years of experience includes working with state health departments and community-based organizations to strengthen organizational infrastructure, evaluation design and implementation, and application of evidence-based strategies to solve complex public health problems including HIV and maternal and infant mortality. Naima's training experience includes the design and facilitation of workshops on social determinants of health, gender and racial equity analysis, leadership development, grant writing, motivational interviewing, communications and social media strategy, and the collective impact collaboration framework for social change. She holds an MSPH and a passion for qualitative research and its use to enhance public health interventions.
