Rich Baker is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in program management, policy support, and coalition building. Currently serving as a Senior Public Health Associate at JSI since May 2024, Rich focuses on HIV prevention, harm reduction, and infectious disease response. Previously, as Deputy Division Director of Prevention at Victory Programs, Rich provided oversight for harm reduction services in Greater Boston, including launching the Victory Connector, a dedicated drop-in program for women and transgender individuals facing homelessness. Additional roles included managing the Mobile Prevention Team and coordinating the EndHepCMA coalition aimed at eliminating Hepatitis C in Massachusetts. Earlier experience includes serving as a Community Health Empowerment Facilitator with the Peace Corps and various educational roles at Arcadia University and the Montgomery County District Court. Rich holds a Master of Public Health from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts from Arcadia University, with a focus on political science and government.
