Matthew Ferrer has a diverse work experience spanning various industries.

Starting in 2007, they worked as a College Representative in Marketing at Flixx55.com, where they promoted a movie-sharing website and recruited students for registration.

In 2008, they were a Summer Analyst at Lehman Brothers, coordinating with clients, traders, and operations to provide a wide range of services. Matthew received a full-time offer from Barclays Capital for the analyst class of 2009.

From 2009 to 2011, Matthew was employed by Barclays Capital as a Liquid Markets Financing Sales representative. In this role, they provided sales coverage to securitized lenders, central banks, hedge funds, and private wealth customers. Matthew developed strong analytical skills and thrived in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

At Foxrock Partners from 2011 to 2013, Matthew worked in Brand Consulting & Business Development, gaining a unique understanding of how brands use sport to reach consumers. Matthew conducted market and sponsorship analysis, sourced and negotiated partnerships and athlete endorsement deals, and developed marketing strategies for new product launches.

In 2014, Matthew joined adidas as an MBA Account Marketing Intern, where they gained cross-category, customer-facing experience. Matthew analyzed the impact of the World Cup on brand share of voice at key sporting goods accounts and conducted in-store, online, and social media analysis.

Since 2015, Matthew has been employed at johnnie-O, where they have taken on increasingly senior roles. Matthew started as a Business Development Manager from 2015 to 2017, then became a Director of Business Development from 2017 to 2019. Matthew was then promoted to VP of Business Development in 2019 and later achieved the position of VP of Sales. Currently, they serve as the SVP of Sales, a role they took on in March 2022.

Matthew Ferrer completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at UCLA Anderson School of Management from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Economics from Middlebury College, studying from 2005 to 2009.
