Charles Wiener

Charles Wiener, MD, currently serves as President of Johns Hopkins Medicine International, a role held since October 2015, overseeing the global advancement of the organization's mission in medical education, research, and care. In addition to this position, Charles Wiener functions as Vice President of Academic Affairs and Asia Operations at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare since 2019 and is a member of the Board of Governors for the National Board of Medical Examiners since 2017. Charles Wiener has been affiliated with The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine since 1991, holding various roles including Professor of Medicine and Physiology and Program Director Emeritus of the Osler Internal Medicine Housestaff Training Program. Previous leadership positions include Founding Dean/CEO at Perdana University Graduate School of Medicine and extensive experience as an attending physician and educator across multiple institutions, including Johns Hopkins Hospital and Kennedy Krieger Institute.
