Ian Wright attended Welbeck College from 1983 to 1985. Ian then went on to attend the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst where they were commissioned in Military and Strategic Leadership. Wright later attended Cranfield University, earning a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Hons) in Land Vehicle Systems from 1987 to 1990. Ian then attended the School of Aeronautical Engineering, Middle Wallop, from 1990 to 1991, earning a degree in Aeronautical Engineering Officer with a focus on Rotary Wing. Lastly, Wright attended the Defense School of Finance and Management from 2000 to 2004, earning a degree in ACMA in Management Accountancy. There is no information provided about their education beyond 2004.
