IYAD EID began their work experience in 2003 as a Charge Nurse at Saudi Aramco, where they worked until October 2014. From October 2014 to January 2017, they served as a Quality Analyst at the same company. In 2014, they joined Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) as a Healthcare Process Improvement Specialist, a role they held until June 2020. Since June 2020, IYAD has been working as the Director of Risk Management and Patient Safety at JHAH.
IYAD EID holds a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from SBS Swiss Business School, which was obtained from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Nursing Science from the University of Jordan, which they completed from 1996 to 2001. Additionally, they have acquired various certifications including Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) from the American Society for Health Care Risk Management (ASHRM), Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality® (CPHQ) from the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ), and Certified Professional patient Safety CPPS from IHI. IYAD has also obtained additional certifications in Interviewing Techniques and Leading with Emotional Intelligence from LinkedIn, and Verified International Academic Qualifications from World Education Services.

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare Company (JHAH) is the result of a joint venture between Saudi Aramco, a world leader in energy, and Johns Hopkins Medicine, one of the world’s leading academic health systems.
