Bernard Owusu Agyare, MPH is a highly experienced public health professional currently serving as an Emerging Leaders in Biosecurity Initiative (ELBI) Fellow at Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security. With a background in infectious disease control and global health consulting, Bernard has worked with various organizations such as the United Nations and West African Health Organization(WAHO) to improve public health surveillance and response systems. With a strong academic foundation including a PhD in Global Infectious Disease from Georgetown University, Bernard has led infectious disease diagnosis programs and provided expertise in infection prevention and control initiatives throughout their career.
