Joel Straus

Joel Straus is currently a Policy Research Associate at Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, where Joel manages a policy portfolio focusing on biodefense and vaccine reimbursement issues. Prior to this role, Joel held positions at Biotechnology Innovation Organization, TARPLIN, DOWNS & YOUNG, LLC, McAllister & Quinn, Proskauer Rose LLP, JNK Securities Corporation, and Guggenheim Partners. Joel is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health degree at Brown University School of Public Health, after earning a Bachelor's Degree in History and Political Science from Tulane University.
