Alex Pudlin

Alex Pudlin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public innovation, data analysis, and urban planning. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at the Bloomberg Center for Public Innovation at Johns Hopkins University since November 2021, Pudlin previously held several key roles within the City of Los Angeles, including Special Advisor to the acting Chief of Staff and Director of the Innovation Team in the Mayor's Office of Budget and Innovation. Notable contributions include the creation of the City's COVID-19 data framework and development of tools for equitable vaccine distribution. Pudlin's earlier experience includes roles at Xerox, LADOT, and community organizations, grounded by a robust educational background with a Bachelor of Arts in Africana Studies from Brown University and Master’s degrees in Urban Planning from UCLA.
