Heather L. Curran

Heather L. Curran is a Senior Technology Licensing Associate at The Johns Hopkins University, in the role since January 2022, following a long tenure at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory from 2001 to December 2021, where various positions included Technology and Marketing Manager and Assistant Head of APL Tech Transfer. Curran has managed over five hundred APL technologies, facilitating interactions with inventors and industry contacts to protect, market, and license technologies. Previously, Curran served as an Adjunct Professor in the Entrepreneurship Department at Howard Community College from 2007 to 2009, teaching a course on technology transfer. Curran holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Maryland.
