Kim Felton

Kim Felton, EdD, currently serves as an Assistant Principal at Secondary School and a Content Specialist for Teach for America while also being a self-published author since 2000. Felton has extensive experience in educational leadership, having held various positions in elementary, middle, and secondary schools, including Principal and Math and ELA Coach. Felton demonstrated significant improvement in student assessment scores and developed curriculum aligned with common core standards during previous roles in Baltimore schools. Additionally, Felton is an Adjunct Professor at Johns Hopkins University, teaching graduate courses in Effective Practices in Teaching and Learning. Educational background includes a Doctor of Education from the University of Phoenix, a Certificate of Advanced Studies from Notre Dame of Maryland University, and a Master’s degree from Coppin State University.
