Merry Zhang is an experienced procurement leader currently serving as the VP of Procurement for APAC at Johnson Controls since November 2021. Prior roles at Johnson Controls include Vice President of Global Procurement at Johnson Controls – Hitachi Air Conditioning and VP of Procurement for Building Technologies and Solutions in APAC. Merry has extensive expertise in operations management, strategic sourcing, and supply chain engineering, having worked with both regional and global teams. Prior to joining Johnson Controls, Merry held various positions at Emerson Network Power, advancing from Leading Engineer to Sr. Manager, focusing on supply chain engineering. Merry holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, an Xtreme Learning Program certification from The Wharton School, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Automation from Tsinghua University.
