Shankar Iyer

Shankar Iyer currently serves as the Director VBU- Transportation, Smart Cities, Sustainability, Building Technologies & Solutions at Johnson Controls since September 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Regional Director for South and West and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Indus Towers Limited from July 2017 to July 2023. Shankar also held the position of President at Sixth Energy Technologies Pvt. Ltd. from September 2016 to July 2017, and served as President of International Business at Quippo Telecom Pvt. Ltd. from May 2015 to August 2016. Earlier, Shankar was Regional Director for North at Indus Towers from April 2007 to May 2015. Shankar's educational pursuits include a forthcoming certificate course in Corporate Governance from Wharton Online and a certificate course in Sustainability for Indian Businesses from CODE IIT Madras, as well as studies at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, XLRI Jamshedpur, and The Wharton School.
