Lauren Merritt

Lauren Merritt has a diverse professional background, currently serving as a Clerk III for Johnson County Iowa since March 2023, where responsibilities include processing property tax payments and providing customer service. Previously, Lauren worked as a Title Abstractor at HAWKEYE TITLE SERVICES, L.C., conducting thorough public record searches and verifying property ownership. Prior roles also include Legal Assistant positions in law firms focusing on business, education, and family law, along with a role in security at Dillard's Inc. Lauren’s earlier experience includes managing disaster grant programs at the Iowa Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management and providing administrative support at the Human Rights Center, University of Minnesota.
