Heather Perry

Heather Perry is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in content creation and strategic marketing. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist at Johnson County Library since December 2024, Heather previously held roles such as Content Manager at Crux KC, where content development aligned with business goals to enhance brand visibility. Heather's expertise extends to features writing for KS Magazine, focusing on human interest and fashion stories, and serving as Marketing Director at McGrew Real Estate, where comprehensive strategies unified brand messaging. Additional experience includes producing newscasts at MidCo Inc., increasing social media engagement as Web Editor/Features Reporter for Channel 6 News, and writing features for Highway 24 Magazine, which received a Kansas Press Association award. Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Kansas State University and an Associate of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Casper College.
