Jo Field

Jo Field is an experienced professional with a diverse background in web content development, youth services, and performing arts. Currently serving as a Web Content Developer at Johnson County Library since December 2011, Jo has guided content strategy and coordinated social media messaging, utilizing usability studies and stakeholder insights to enhance information architecture. Prior to this role, Jo held positions as a Youth Services Specialist, where programming for story times and outreach to local schools was key, and as an Information Specialist, managing reference desk duties and program planning. Additionally, Jo has directed and performed with Duende Dance since June 2004, overseeing events, public relations, and teaching. Previously, Jo worked at Garmin International providing technical support. Jo holds a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
