Julie Timmins

Julie Timmins is a seasoned library professional with extensive experience at Johnson County Library since November 2009, where roles have included Training Specialist and Assistant Branch Manager, focusing on staff management and patron services. Previous experience includes serving as a Reference Librarian at Shawnee Mission Medical Center, overseeing interlibrary loans and implementing efficient management systems, as well as a Library Intern at the International Association of Assessing Officers, where contributions included creating well-received online subject guides. Julie holds a Master of Library Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in English/Creative Writing from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, complemented by an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from Johnson County Community College.
