Kellen Jenkins

Kellen Jenkins is a seasoned marketing and communications professional, currently serving as the Marketing & Communications Manager for the Johnson County Park & Recreation District since June 2023, overseeing a team that promotes parks and programs to millions of annual visitors. Previous experience includes leading marketing strategies at Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City from October 2018 to June 2023, where a project management system was implemented to track communications efforts. Kellen also held roles as Director of Marketing and Communications for Youth Volunteer Corps, Visual Storyteller at Wichita Business Journal, Editor and Camera Operator at Berkeley Square Media Inc., and contributed as a photographer and videographer with The Joplin Globe, ABC Television, and other media outlets. Kellen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and Journalism from Emporia State University.
