Nick Ward-Bopp

Nick Ward-Bopp is a seasoned project manager currently working at Johnson County Park & Recreation District since July 2023, and co-founder of Maker Village KC since December 2013, where multi-day woodworking and metalworking courses are planned and led. Previously, Nick served as a MakerSpace Facilitator at Johnson County Library from October 2015 to July 2023, assisting the public with digital fabrication tools and equipment. Additionally, Nick provided consulting services to The Dan & Cassidy Towriss IDEA Space KC in early 2022, focusing on outfitting fabrication areas with appropriate tools. Earlier roles include Tool Tech at Make48 and co-creator of The Jarboe Initiative, where significant building rehab projects were completed. Academically, Nick holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a B.S. in Marketing and Economics from Avila University.
