Lee A. Ernst has over 17 years of work experience in various roles and organizations.
They started their career in 2004 as a Major Gifts Officer at The Salvation Army, where they were responsible for identifying and cultivating major gift donors in the Chicago area. Their activities included personal donor visits and donor event management.
In 2006, they joined the University of Chicago as an Assistant Director, Parents Fund. They organized the first ever annual fund committee of parent donors and focused on increasing parent participation and giving to the annual fund. They later became an Associate Director, Parents Program, College Development from 2008 to 2011.
In 2012, Lee worked as a Development Officer Consultant at Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
Since 2013, they have been working at Johnson, Grossnickle and Associates. They started as an Associate and then progressed to the role of Consultant. Currently, they are a Senior Consultant.
