Steve Schmidt began their work experience as a QA Analyst at Frontline Test Services Company, where they developed and executed test cases for Bluetooth protocol analyzer software. Steve then moved on to Intalgent, where they served as a QA Analyst and handled the entire QA branch of the organization, including developing test plans and assisting with software development tasks. Steve then joined Thomson Reuters as a Support Technician, providing end-user support and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. Steve later transitioned to the role of Software Test Engineer at Thomson Reuters, where they developed and executed test plans, collaborated with product teams and developers, and created reports and documentation. Steve's next position was with Clarivate Analytics, where they became a Lead Software Test Engineer. In this role, they managed a QA team, developed project automation frameworks, and facilitated an agile transformation. Steve is currently working at Johnson Health Tech North America as a Web Quality Automation Engineer and People Lead.
Steve Schmidt attended Christopher Newport University from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Steve also achieved the Eagle Scout certification from the Boy Scouts of America in 2003.
