Aaron Bedermann

Aaron Bedermann is currently a Principal Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry at Johnson & Johnson, specializing in the design and synthesis of bioactive compounds. Previously, Aaron held positions as an Investigator at GSK, focusing on antibacterial drug discovery and high-throughput chemistry, and has extensive experience as a Graduate Research Assistant under John L. Wood, where significant progress was made in the total synthesis of phomoidride D. Aaron earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Baylor University and completed a postdoctoral associate program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, further enhancing expertise in flow chemistry and automation technologies. Their educational background includes a BS in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
