Gary Summer

Gary Summer is an accomplished IT director with extensive experience in clinical development systems within the pharmaceutical industry. Since November 2010, Gary has held the position of IT Director for Clinical Development Systems at Johnson & Johnson, leading teams focused on clinical operations, participant data collection, and engagement of investigative staff. Previous roles include IT Director for Clinical Investigator Systems and Sr. IT Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing systems for medical review of clinical trial data and leading critical implementations. Gary's earlier experience includes managing consultant roles at IBM, Fujitsu Consulting, and PwC Consulting, where significant contributions were made to submissions management and trial study workflow systems. Additionally, Gary worked at Roche Molecular Systems as both IT Manager and Scientist, overseeing network management and laboratory operations. Gary holds a Master's degree in Clinical Research Organization & Management from Drexel University and a Bachelor's degree from Rutgers University.
