Jian Lin

Jian (Jay) Lin is an accomplished professional in the field of immunology and drug development, currently serving as Senior Director of External Innovation within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine division. Lin's extensive experience includes leadership roles at WuXi AppTec as Director of the Immunology Center, where a center of excellence was established for contract research services, and at XBiotech USA, Inc. as Principal Scientist for therapeutic antibody discovery. Lin also contributed significantly to clinical programs at Simcere Pharmaceutical Group as Senior Director for Business Development in Oncology and as Executive Director, Head of Biologics Discovery. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Molecular Immunology and Microbiology/Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Zhejiang University.
