Jose Cid is currently a Scientific Director at Janssen, where they are responsible for advanced research in the discovery and development of therapeutic agents. They have been with Johnson and Johnson since 1997, serving as a Senior Principal Scientist and Chemistry Team Leader. Prior to this role, Jose completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Université de Montreal from 1995 to 1996. They earned a PhD in cycloalkanones as potential antipsychotic agents from Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, where their studies took place from 1990 to 1995.
