Leah Octavio

Leah Octavio is currently the Senior Patent Counsel at Johnson & Johnson, a position they have held since 2020. Previously, Leah worked as a Patent Counsel at GSK from 2016 to 2019 and served as an Associate at both Saul Ewing LLP and Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP. Leah also gained experience as a Summer Associate at Ballard Spahr LLP and as a Summer Intern in Global Patents. They earned a Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law in 2014, a Ph.D. in Computational Systems Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2011, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island in 2006.
