Matt Eckert served as a Captain in the US Army from 1997 to 2001. Following military service, Matt held various roles at Johnson & Johnson from February 2019 to March 2021, including Senior District Business Manager, responsible for a team focused on optometry practices and retail vendors; Sales Training Manager, developing training programs for over 650 sales representatives; and North America Commercial Director for Myopia, leading a cross-functional team. Additional roles included Executive Sales Representative in both medical device sales and for hernia implants, as well as Division Sales Manager, overseeing a team in the promotion of clinical solutions in the Southwest Florida markets. Matt holds a BA in Political Science from Davidson College and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill - Kenan-Flagler Business School.
