Melinda Lear

Melinda Lear is a Senior Staff System Engineer at Johnson & Johnson, where they advance human health and performance through medical devices and data products. Prior to this role, Melinda served as a Staff System Engineer and has experience as a Principal Biomechanical Engineer at Seismic, focusing on new product definition and user experience. Melinda completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine, concentrating on skeletal muscle tissue engineering, and holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, in addition to a Master's Degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of California, Davis.
