Michael Takami

Michael Takami is a skilled XR Software Developer and intern with experience in various roles related to technology and game design. Notably, Michael served as an Extended Reality Intern at Notre Dame Learning and as a team lead for the UCSC Wildfire Games Research Lab, where a branching narrative RPG was developed focusing on wildfire safety. Michael's background also includes a QuickTakes Intern position with edkey, managing social media and marketing, and a Product Manager Intern role at Your Future Is Our Business. Additional experience includes developing websites for non-profit organizations through UCSC Blueprint and advising high school students in STEM subjects with UCSC GEAR UP. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a focus on Game Design from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and is pursuing a Master of Science in Engineering, Science & Technology Entrepreneurship at the University of Notre Dame.
